MIDDLESEX ANNOUNCE ‘MIDDLESEX COMMUNITY FESTIVAL’ AT VITALITY BLAST CLASH VS GLAMORGAN AT RADLETT

Middlesex Cricket is excited to announce that the Club will be hosting the Middlesex Community Festival on Sunday 29th May at Radlett Cricket Club when Middlesex host Glamorgan in the Vitality Blast.

The Middlesex Community Festival will be a celebration of the diverse cultures that the county comprises, and a host of cultural entertainment will be laid on for spectators to enjoy before and during the game – the perfect day out for family and friends.

On the field, from 2.30pm, Middlesex’s T20 side, including England white-ball captain Eoin Morgan and Afghanistan wonder-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman, will be looking to repeat last year’s victory over their visitors from Wales, whilst off the field there will be plenty going on around the ground for spectators to look forward to.

Gates to Radlett’s Brunton Memorial Ground will open at 12.30pm with pre-match entertainment beginning immediately, in the form of dancing from the Munde Punjab De Bhangra dancers, the sounds of the sub-continent from a group of Dhol Drummers, and music from the West Indies thanks to the Heart of Steel Caribbean steel pans band. All entertainment will be shown on a huge live screen brought in for the event. Interval entertainment will also be provided.

Young fans can also take part in a host of off-field activities at Middlesex’s interactive youth fun zone, Pinky’s Pavilion, where they’ll be able to play games, practice their cricket skills, and take part in a host of other activities. There will also be face painters, henna tattooists, kids colouring-in competitions, and the chance to win a Hamley’s hamper – plenty of fun for all the family to get involved in.

Spectators will also be able to enjoy a selection of street food available around the ground, and sit in any of the non-reserved seating areas or in dedicated family areas and no-alcohol areas that will be available for spectators.

Tickets in advance cost just £20 for adults, £10 for over 65’s, and £5 for under 16’s, or tickets can be bought on the day, priced at £25 for adults, £15 for over 65’s and £5 for under 16’s.
