COMING TO THE MATCH | SPECTATOR INFORMATION | MIDDLESEX VS WORCESTERSHIRE AT MERCHANT TAYLORS' SCHOOL

Middlesex take on Worcestershire in the LV= Insurance County Championship this week, in a game starting on Monday 11th July and ending on Thursday 14th July 2022.

If you're attending the match, please see below all the information you'll need ahead of your visit.

We look forward to welcoming you to Merchant Taylors' School this week as Middlesex look to build on a fantastic draw in our last encounter against table-topping Nottinghamshire, that kept Middlesex in second place in the table, sitting just ten points behind the leaders with six games remaining in the campaign.

Admission Information:

Middlesex members will gain entry into the match and simply need to produce their valid 2022 membership card to gain free admission.

Middlesex members in possession of a 2022 Season Guest Pass can also use this over the duration of the game at Merchant Taylors' School. Members are reminded that Guest Passes may only be used if the Guest attending is also in the presence of the Member who own the Guest Pass. The bearer of the Guest Pass, if in the presence of the Member, will also gain free admission to the ground on production of the Season Guest Pass.

Members' looking to purchase tickets for Guests can still do so, with tickets available to buy online HERE.

If members are unable to purchase tickets online, then they are being sold at the admission gates.

Non-members looking to attend the fixture can also still purchase tickets online HERE, or if preferred can also pay at the gate.

All seating in the ground is unreserved, so if you have a favoured position to watch the action from, we would recommend arriving early to secure your spot.

Arriving at the venue and parking facilities:

Venue postcode - HA6 2HT

Arriving by car - All vehicles must arrive at the main school entrance and follow signs for car parking, which is available at the venue, priced at £3 for Middlesex members and £5 for non-members.

Parking can be purchased in advance by clicking HERE - click on the match-day you wish to attend and select car parking option. If you are unable to purchase car parking online, then spectators can pay upon entry into the car park.

Arriving on foot - If you are arriving via the Underground, Moor Park is on the Metropolitan Line, and is a 5-minute walk to the ground.

At the exit turnstiles, double back on yourself, going sharp right along the walkway under the railway line. Go up the stairs and turn sharp left through the barrier onto the path through the spinney. At the end, bear left along Askew Road, cross the road at the zebra crossing and walk on 50 yards until you see the school gates on your right.

Parking for wheelchair users of for those with restricted mobility:

A separate parking area is available for any spectators with limited mobility and wheelchair users. This is separate from the main spectator car park and is close to the pitch. Please note, do not turn left into the field where spectator parking is situated, please tell the steward at the barrier you require blue badge parking and you will be directed to the correct parking zone.

Seating Information:

Seating is provided for spectators around the ground, and all seats are unreserved.

Should you wish to bring your own chair with you, then by all means do so.

Tiered seating is also available in the form of two temporary stands. Again, this seating is unreserved, so should you wish to view from an elevated position we would recommend arriving earlier.

There are also two sun shade canopies, should you wish to sit in a shaded area. There is also some shaded cover from trees around the ground.

There will be a dedicated area reserved for wheelchair users.

Admission with alcohol at the match

In accordance with ECB guidelines, spectators are welcome to bring alcohol into the match, however please be aware of the volume restrictions that apply per spectator...

Bottles of spirits or fortified wines will not be allowed into the Ground. Amounts of alcohol in excess of these limits and any alcohol in excess of these limits will be confiscated. Under no circumstances will any spectator be re-admitted to the Ground at any time during the day if he or she is in possession of any alcohol.

Catering Information:

Catering facilities will be available around the ground throughout the match, and there will be a bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, plus a coffee van will be on site serving teas/coffees and snacks.

Each catering outlet will have card facilities available.

Middlesex Shop and Information point

At the Middlesex Information stand and shop you will be able to purchase items of Middlesex replica clothing, collect scorecards, plus speak to members of staff should you have any questions relating to Middlesex membership.

The Middlesex shop will have card facilities available.

Toilet and changing facilities:

Toilet facilities are available around the ground.

Accessibility toilet facilities are available at the ground.

Changing places facilities are available at the ground.

Multi-Faith Area:

There is a dedicated multi-faith area at the ground.

Additional Information:

Members drop in session - Members are invited to the Hospitality marquee during the Afternoon Tea Interval on Day 3 (Wednesday 13 July) for a “drop in session” with Chair of the Membership Committee Marilyn Smith for any items and feedback you wish to give and offer around your Membership. Other Board members and Senior staff will also be present.

Plans and information about the brand new state of the art indoor cricket school, which Merchant Taylors’ school are fundraising to have build on the site this winter, which will become a really useful addition to our winter training facilities for both the Middlesex Senior, Academy and Sunrisers squads will also be available to view, with staff from the school also present to answer any questions.
