COMMUNITY IFTAR AT HOUNSLOW JAMIA MASJID

MIDDLESEX HOST CRICKET SESSION AT HOUNSLOW JAMIA MASJID OPEN COMMUNITY IFTAR EVENT

On Friday evening, members of the Middlesex Participation team, playing squad, and Club staff, were invited to attend an open community Iftar event at the Hounslow Jamia Masjid, where their doors were opened to the local community, and Middlesex Cricket laid on a cricket session for youngsters from the local area.

The event was a huge success, attended by hundreds of members of the local community, and we were on hand to capture the events of the evening on film.

Watch our short video of the event, which concluded with Angus Fraser being presented with a gift from the mosque, in thanks for the commitment we have made to the Hounslow Jamia Masjid for partnering with them as one of our core city hubs, whilst Raj Nath, from Middlesex Cricket's participation team, was also invited onto the stage to present the mosque with a 2023 playing shirt, signed by the men's professional playing squad as a gift from the Club.

Our thanks go to all at the mosque for the huge honour of inviting us to this event and we very much look forward to working with you over the coming months and years...

The event was also covered on two Muslim Pakistani television channels, with reports on the Iftar and cricket session featured below.
