FULCRUM ASSET MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCED AS NEW MAJOR CLUB SPONSOR

MIDDLESEX CRICKET AND SUNRISERS ANNOUNCE FULCRUM ASSET MANAGEMENT AS NEW MAJOR CLUB SPONSOR

Middlesex Cricket and Sunrisers are today delighted to announce that Fulcrum Asset Management has become a new major sponsor of the Club.

The agreement, which spans the next three years until the end of 2025, will see Fulcrum’s sponsorship aligned with supporting the Sunrisers, Middlesex Women, Middlesex Girls, and the Club’s new charitable arm, Middlesex in the Community, with the Fulcrum partnership helping the Club lead the way on its community engagement plans.

The partnership centres on community engagement, seeing Fulcrum’s investment fund over 300 bursaries through the ECB’s National Programmes for young children, with a focus on North London and its surrounding areas. It will further support the development of non-traditional cricket events across the county, encouraging more people to take up the game.

For the next three years the Fulcrum logo will proudly adorn the shirt fronts of all players within Middlesex’s Girls’ County Age Group programme and on the non-leading arm of the Sunrisers’ playing shirts, and from 2024 onwards, on the front of Middlesex Women’s playing shirts.

Next year Fulcrum will be celebrating their twentieth anniversary, with plans in place to celebrate their key milestone at Lord’s.

Speaking of Fulcrum joining Middlesex as a new Major sponsor, the Club’s Senior Commercial Manager, Imogen Gilliar, commented:

“We are thrilled to welcome Fulcrum into the Middlesex family and are very much looking forward to working closely with them over the coming three years.

“We have some really exciting plans for community delivery in the pipeline and it’s fantastic to have Fulcrum’s support directed towards our Women and Girls’ cricket. I am confident that Fulcrum’s support for the Club will be integral to the delivery of our new charitable arm, Middlesex in the Community.

“Our thanks go to everyone at Fulcrum for their support in joining us as a major sponsor.”

Commenting on behalf of Fulcrum Asset Management, Managing Partner, Joe Davidson said:

“Having served our investors across the globe for almost 20 years, Fulcrum is keen to give back to our local communities. Our success in uncovering investment opportunities has required a diverse team, with different talents and experiences. As an employer in the asset management industry, we understand the importance and value of providing the right environment for all members of our team so they can progress and thrive, regardless of their background or gender.

"The same is true in sport and we are especially pleased to see the progress made in women’s cricket over the last decade. We are therefore delighted to sponsor Middlesex Cricket, with the specific intention of creating better opportunities for girls in cricket and hope to encourage many more young people, from communities that are often not well served with cricket facilities, to enjoy the game, gain new skills and feel inspired to achieve.”
