JACK DAVIES SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH MIDDLESEX CRICKET

Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce that wicket-keeping all-rounder Jack Davies has signed a contract extension with the Club until at least the end of the 2025 season.

The Berkshire-born left-handed batter, 23, made his professional debuts for Middlesex in both first-class and T20 formats in 2020, with his List-A debut coming in 2021, and he has to date made 48 first eleven appearances for the Club across all three formats of the game.

On Davies signing an extension to his contract with the Club, Middlesex’s Director of Cricket, Alan Coleman, said:

“We are thrilled that Jack has signed an extension with the Club for the next two years and are looking forward to seeing his game continue to develop over this time.

“This year he had more opportunities to establish himself in the first eleven across all formats, and we have seen him grow as a player as a result.

“Jack is one of several young cricketers that we are really excited about for the future, and he has the potential to develop into a fine cricketer for Middlesex in years to come.”

On signing an extension to his terms with Middlesex, Davies commented:

“I am incredibly happy to sign an extension with the Club I’ve been a part of since I joined the Academy in 2017.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute as much as I can to the Club’s successes in the coming years.”
