Tom Helm and Max Holden will feature in this year’s edition of the Hundred having been picked by Birmingham Phoenix and Trent Rockets respectively.
Both are seasoned campaigners in the Hundred having played in previous editions, with Max Holden reaching the 2022 and 2023 final with Manchester Originals.
Helm’s best season in the competition came in 2022 when he claimed 14 scalps, but only featured once last summer, whilst Holden scored 118 runs in 2024.
Joining Helm at Birmingham Phoenix will be England’s Ben Duckett, Liam Livingstone, Jacob Bethell and Dan Mousley. Rehan Ahmed, Joe Root and John Turner will join Max Holden.
The Middlesex duo join Leus du Plooy and Stephen Eskinazi, who will feature for Southern Brave and Welsh fire in the tournament which runs from 5-31 August.
There will be another opportunity for more of the squad to join the competition when the Vitality Wildcard picks take place following the group stages of the Vitality Blast.
