We are thrilled to announce that Josh De Caires has been named as the Captain of a Professional County Club Select XI, who will take on Zimbabwe Men in a four-day tour game at Leicester this week.
De Caires has been in exceptional form for Middlesex's Second Eleven so far this season, with knocks of 30, 114, 52, 94, 56 and 65 - hitting 411 runs at an average of 68.50.
De Caires, 23, has made 21 first-class appearances for Middlesex and leads a 13-player squad which also includes fellow Middlesex squad member Sebastian Morgan.
Morgan has yet to make his First Eleven debut for Middlesex, having only recently been awarded a rookie contract at the end of last year, however he has shone on the international stage at Under 19 level and will be looking to impress up at Leicester this week against international opposition.
The four-day match begins at the Uptonsteel County Ground this coming Thursday, 15th May 2025.
