This coming Friday, on day one of our latest Rothesay County Championship clash of the season, when we take on Leicestershire at Lord's, we are excited to announce that we'll be joined by many of Middlesex's players from across the ages, for our annual Middlesex Players' Association Day - being organised as a joint fundraising event for Middlesex in the Community, the Club's charitable foundation, and the Middlesex Players' Association...
Last year's reunion proved a huge success, with well over 100 players and guests from yesteryear and the modern day coming together to reminisce about their times together as Middlesex players, recounting many a dressing room tale and catching up on all the good times they spent together.
This year will be no different, as numbers have increased, so we're really looking forward to hosting another fantastic day for a whole host players who have represented the Club across the years, from the Middlesex Men's, Women's and Disability sides.
All members are invited to join us in the Coronation Garden from the start of the tea interval, when a number of players will be receiving their ceremonial caps in recognition of all that they achieved when playing with the three Seaxes on their shirt, and after the photos have been taken and the moments all captured for posterity, members will have the chance to chat to to their Middlesex heroes.
BOOK SIGNING - ROLAND BUTCHER - BREAKING BOUNDARIES
Also on the day, former Middlesex and England star, Roland Butcher will be signing copies of his recently released book, Breaking Boundaries, with a percentage of all book sales being donated to both the Foundation and the Association.
