NAOMI DATTANI RETURNS TO MIDDLESEX ON SHORT-TERM LOAN FROM HAMPSHIRE

We're thrilled to announce that former Middlesex Captain, Naomi Dattani, has joined us on a short-term loan from Hampshire. She is available for at least two matches, and will return to action in tomorrow's Vitality Blast opener against Sussex Sharks at Lord's.

Dattani made her Middlesex first-team debut in May 2008, aged just 14, after playing at Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 level.

She was named 50-over captain in 2017, and went on to play 128 matches for the club, 63 of which were T20. She averaged 18.83 with the bat in the shorter format, and with the ball, her best figures were 3/9.

Dattani has also represented Sunrisers, and, in 2022, was their leading run-scorer in the Charlotte Edwards Cup, scoring 157 runs including two half-centuries, before joining Lancashire Thunder at the end of that season.

Having represented London Spirit in the Hundred, she should feel at home at Lord's, as she returns for our historic fixture tomorrow, kicking off the Blast in Middlesex Women's first competitive appearance at the Home of Cricket.
