Middlesex’s men continue their Vitality Blast campaign tomorrow as they welcome Glamorgan to Merchant Taylors’ School.
Men’s First Team Coach, Richard Johnson, has named an unchanged squad of 13 for the match, which forms the second part of a double-header in Northwood as our women play the same opposition earlier in the day.
Stephen Eskinazi and the squad will be hoping to register the first win of the campaign, having fallen to a 16-run defeat at the hands of Sussex Sharks during Thursday night’s opener at Lord’s.
Ben Geddes will be looking to continue his excellent start to the tournament as he notched his maiden T20 half-century under the lights last time out. Ryan Higgins also impressed with the bat, bludgeoning 44 off just 16 balls as we made 186/7.
Tomorrow visitors, Glamorgan, haven’t played yet so will be opening their campaign tomorrow hungry to get off to a winning start.
The Cardiff outfit finished sixth in the south group last term having win six of their 14 matches.
Glamorgan have recruited Australian allrounder, Hayden Kerr, for their Vitality Blast campaign and will also have the services of South African, Colin Ingram.
Tomorrow is family day at Merchant Taylors’ School so as well as high-octane cricket, there will be plenty of other activities for everyone to enjoy!
