Congratulations to Middlesex duo, James Isbell and Sebastian Morgan, who have been named in the England Under-19 squad to face India in a Youth One-Day International series.
Both players are familiar with the set-up, having played for England Under-19s before in World Cups and other series.
Isbell and Morgan are both promising young prospects, and the latter signed his first professional contract on rookie terms last winter. The pair have had a sustained period of success at both academy and second eleven level.
The Youth ODI series will see five matches played in Hove, Northampton and Worcester. Following this, there will be two youth Tests in Beckenham and Chelmsford, with squad for those matches to be named in due course.
England Under-19s Head Coach, Mike Yardy, said: “We’ve selected an exciting squad for the ODI series. We have players who have a variety of white-ball skills and predominantly available for the ICC Under-19 World Cup in the winter.
“India Under-19s will provide a great challenge this summer and it’s a great opportunity for the boys to perform as a team and individually.”
