MEMBERS' COACH TRAVEL AVAILABLE FOR WOMEN'S VITALITY BLAST FINALS DAY

MEMBERS' COACH TRAVEL AVAILABLE FOR WOMEN'S VITALITY BLAST FINALS DAY IN NORTHAMPTON | 26 JULY 2025

We are delighted to inform all members that Middlesex Women’s victory over Kent Spitfires Women in Canterbury last weekend, not only cemented their position at the top of the South Group table, but it confirmed their place at the inaugural Women’s Vitality Blast Tier Two Finals Day, being played at Northampton’s County Ground on Saturday 26th July.

The Club has arranged for a coach to depart Lord’s on the morning of Finals Day to head to Northampton and then return to Lord’s later in the day.

Middlesex staff will be travelling on the coach, and we would be delighted if members could also join us on the trip, to help cheer on Middlesex Women, as they look to secure silverware in the first year of the new Women’s domestic structure.

Members’ tickets will be available at just £10 for the trip and will be sold on a first-come first-served basis, with limited tickets available.

The showpiece event of the Women’s Tier Two schedule will feature two semi-final fixtures ahead of the main event – the Women’s Vitality Blast Tier Two Final.

Middlesex Women have been in magnificent form in the competition, securing their place at Finals Day by winning six of their opening seven group matches in the competition, and they have qualified with one game remaining in the group stages, which is being played this coming Sunday, when they’ll take on Gloucestershire in Cheltenham to establish who they'll be playing in the semi-final.

Our semi-final opponents In the North Group will be determined this weekend too. Yorkshire are the runaway leaders and have already secured their place as winners, whilst Leicestershire Foxes, Worcestershire Rapids, and Northamptonshire Steelbacks are all still fighting it out to grab the runners-up spot and book their place at Finals Day.

At Finals Day, Semi-final one, at 11am, will see the winners of the North Group taking on the runners-up in the South Group, with the winners of the South Group playing the runners-up in the North Group in semi-final two at 2.30pm, with the winners of each game then meeting in the final. All eyes are therefore on Sunday’s game in Cheltenham, as a win for Middlesex will see them crowned winners of the South Group.

The supporters’ coach will be leaving the Grace Gate at Lord’s at 8.30am and will leave Northampton for the return journey back to Lord’s after Middlesex's exit from the competition is confirmed, whatever time that may be. The coach will depart Northampton half an hour after the final ball has been bowled in Middlesex's last match of the day.

Members interested in joining us on the coach to Finals Day should act quickly to secure their seats, with limited places available. Tickets can be purchased HERE - priced at just £10.

We very much look forward to welcoming members to Northampton on the 26th July and to spending time with you all on the coach to and from Finals Day, when hopefully we’ll have plenty to celebrate and some silverware to hold aloft.
