Middlesex Cricket and its longest serving sponsor, Ark Build PLC, are joining forces to help raise funds for a worthy local cause.
Michael Finlay, Managing Director of Ark Build, resides in West Sussex in Fulking, where he has been an active member of the local community for a number of years.
The Village of Fulking sits in the heart of the South Downs National Park and its Village Hall and Chapel have been at the heart of the local community for over a century.
The Village Hall and Chapel are under the ownership of the Church, who now wish to sell both buildings, and the local community are urgently raising funds to purchase the Village Hall to protect it as a community asset and ensure it remains a vital part of the community moving forwards.
Middlesex Cricket and Ark Build have come together and agreed to play a charity fundraising cricket match in Sussex, against Preston Nomads Cricket Club, on Sunday 3rd August 2025 at 1pm.
The match will be played as a T20 contest at Preston Nomads Cricket Club, and the Middlesex side will feature a host of players from the Middlesex Men’s squad, the Middlesex Women’s squad, and the Middlesex Disability squad.
The game will be umpired by Middlesex and England legend, Angus Fraser, and Middlesex Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Cornish.
There will also be a live auction, to raise further funds, hosted by Angus Fraser, with a host of exceptional money can’t buy experiences on offer.
Members and supporters are encouraged to purchase tickets to the game in advance and show their support of this worthy cause and enjoy a fantastic afternoon of T20 action.

Middlesex Cricket’s CEO, Andrew Cornish, commented:
“When Michael at Ark Build made us aware of this campaign, we were more than happy to offer our support and are delighted to be playing a big part in this important fundraising event.
“Ark Build have been an incredible supporter of Middlesex Cricket for well over a decade as one of our major sponsors, so supporting Michael and members of his community by helping out with the cricket match was an easy decision to make.
“We’re very much looking forward to sending our Middlesex Select Eleven down to Sussex to take on Preston Nomads, and to supporting the fundraising efforts that will protect this vital community asset.”
