ZAFAR GOHAR RULED OUT OF CURRENT GAME AND UPDATE ON OTHER PLAYER INJURIES
We can confirm today, that after leaving the field yesterday after injuring his shoulder in the field, Zafar Gohar has seen the Club's medical specialists and has been diagnosed with a strained AC joint in his bowling arm.
He will play no further part in this current game against Northamptonshire and will see a shoulder specialist next Monday to assess the injury further.
SQUAD INJURY UPDATE
- Naavya Sharma - Naavya is making excellent progress in recovering from a minor side strain and is expected to be back in contention for selection in the upcoming Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign.
- Henry Brookes - Henry has also made excellent progress in recovering from a side injury and is now back in contention for selection, and successfully came through a Second Eleven match recently, bowling 23 overs without issue.
- Ishaan Kaushal and Seb Morgan - Both Ishaan and Seb are recovering from foot injuries, with both players expected to be back in contention for a return at the back end of August
- Blake Cullen - Blake remains injured and unavailable for selection, and will remain so for the remainder of the season whilst he recovers from a stress injury in his lower back.
