ZAFAR GOHAR & RYAN HIGGINS PICKED UP IN VITALITY HUNDRED WILDCARD DRAFT

ZAFAR GOHAR & RYAN HIGGINS PICKED UP IN VITALITY HUNDRED WILDCARD DRAFT

It can today be announced that both Zafar Gohar and Ryan Higgins were drafted for the 2025 edition of the Hundred by Oval Invincibles and London Spirit respectively through the Vitality Wildcard draft.

The pair are the latest Middlesex players to be called up and will join Leus du Plooy (Southern Brave), Stephen Eskinazi (Welsh Fire), Tom Helm (Birmingham Phoenix) and Max Holden (Trent Rockets) in the 100-ball competition.

Higgins featured once for London Spirit last summer having played for Welsh Fire previously, whilst Gohar hasn’t played in the competition at all in any of the previous editions.

There is the potential that both Higgins and Gohar could play against each other during the opening match of this year’s Hundred competition as London Spirit host Oval Invincibles at Lord's on Tuesday 5th August.
