Our most sincere thanks go to our good friends and colleagues at Cleveland Clinic London, the Club's Official Healthcare Partner, who attended our Metro Bank One-Day Cup match against Sussex Sharks at Lord's on Sunday to provide free heart health checks for members and spectators throughout the day.
The service was brilliantly received by those who visited the pop-up clinics in the Committee Room in the Pavilion and at the Nursery End of the Ground, and the Club has received some wonderful feedback from members who took advantage of the free health checks available from Cleveland Clinic London's expert clinicians.
In the Committee Room, clinicians offered members electrocardiogram (ECG) tests and blood pressure monitoring checks, whilst at the Nursery End of the ground, spectators took advantage of free cardiac health checks.
Both clinics were busy throughout the day, with scores of attendees at the game making the most of the free healthcare service on offer.
Colin, 55, who has been a member of Middlesex for 21 years, visited the clinic inside the Pavilion, and said:
"For the Club to be able to provide such a service to its members on a match day was brilliant - for it to be free was even better. I barely missed any of the game and was in and out in no time. It was also pleasing to be given a clean bill of health, which gave me great peace of mind. Huge thanks to all who arranged this and thanks also to the very professional and efficient staff at the Cleveland Clinic London, who were warm, friendly and made me feel really comfortable."
