Middlesex’s women have booked their place in the semi-final of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup Women’s League Two competition.
The match will take place at Radlett Cricket Club next Sunday (7th September), starting at 10.30am. We are still yet to find out who we are hosting with the fourth place still to be decided; Yorkshire who play Kent currently sit in fourth, Worcestershire who play us sit in fifth and Gloucestershire who play Leicestershire are in sixth - with just two points separating them.
More matchday information will be shared next week, but it would be great to see as many Middlesex members and supporters there as possible to cheer on the girls as they seek to book their place in the final, giving themselves a shot at another piece of silverware this summer, having already won the Vitality Blast Women’s Tier Two competition.
Marc Broom’s side, who have qualified for the semi-finals, are unbeaten, having won all eight of their group encounters so far.
Should Middlesex then qualify for the final, that will take place on Sunday 14th September at Visit Worcestershire New Road (10.30am start).
Saskia Horley and her team finish the group stage tomorrow at Merchant Taylors’ School, when they take on Worcestershire. The match starts at 10.30am and there is free entry for all!
