Middlesex return to Metro Bank One-Day Cup action tomorrow when we travel to Wantage Road to take on Northamptonshire.
The seaxes will be looking to secure their fifth win of the campaign and remain in the hunt for knockout qualification.
Group B is extremely tight with the top six teams separated by eight points after six or seven matches. Somerset joined us and Yorkshire on 16 points after their win over Sussex Sharks at Hove on Thursday, whilst Warwickshire also joined us on 16 points following their win over Lancashire in Aigburth.
It is worth noting that the top-placed team in each group goes straight through to the semi-finals next weekend, whilst second and third in each group goes into a play-off following the conclusion of the group stage.

Men’s Interim First Team Coach, Dane Vilas, has named a squad of 14 for tomorrow’s match against Northamptonshire. Nathan Gilchrist returns having been left out for the win over Kent due to them being his parent county.
Northamptonshire have only won one match in this year’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup, with that coming against Durham at Chester-Le-Street a couple of days after our record-breaking run chase in the north east.
James Sales is the Steelbacks’ leading run-scorer with 223 runs under his belt, whilst Liam Guthrie leads the way bowling-wise with seven wickets.
