2026 COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AND ONE-DAY CUP FIXTURES RELEASED

2026 COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AND ONE-DAY CUP FIXTURES RELEASED

Middlesex Cricket can today announce the Rothesay County Championship and Metro Bank One-Day Cup fixtures for both its men’s and women’s teams ahead of the 2026 season.

The 2026 season will start on Friday 3rd April with back-to-back home matches for the men as Gloucestershire and Worcestershire visit Lord’s respectively in successive weeks.

This year, Middlesex’s men will play two outground County Championship fixtures at Merchant Taylors’ School, with both Kent and Lancashire visiting Northwood.

Northamptonshire will be the visitors to Lord’s for the Club’s final match of the summer, with that fixture starting on Thursday 24th September.

Middlesex’s women will begin their season on Sunday 12th April as they travel to the Central Co-op County Ground to take on Derbyshire in the One-Day Cup.

They will be in a group of nine this year rather than the 10 that we saw in 2025 as Yorkshire will play in Tier One. The side’s four home matches in the competition will be played at Radlett Cricket Club, with their final game of the group stage taking place at the venue on Sunday 6th September against Glamorgan.

Should they qualify for the knockout stages, the semi-finals will take place on 12th / 13th September and the final will be held at The Seat Unique Stadium, Bristol on Sunday 20th September.

As for the men, they have been placed in group B of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup group alongside: Derbyshire Falcons, Durham, Essex, Glamorgan, Hampshire, Sussex Sharks, Worcestershire Rapids and Yorkshire.

Our campaign will get underway at home against Essex on Tuesday 21st July, with Glamorgan the visitors later in the week. The venue for our first two home games in the competition are still to be determined. Yorkshire will visit the Home of Cricket on Sunday 2nd August.

The final group match will take place on Tuesday 11th August, as Sussex Sharks visit Radlett.

Should the team qualify, the quarter-finals will take place on Friday 14th August, with the semi-finals on Sunday 16th August. The final will be held at Trent Bridge on Sunday 20th September.

In the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup, Middlesex will once again host Kent in the first round on Sunday 26th April. The nine tier one counties will enter the competition in the third round. Finals day will be held at Emirates Old Trafford on Saturday 29th August.

A full list of fixtures across all three competitions can be found below, with ticket details to be announced in due course.
