FELDMAN RULED OUT OF YOUNG LIONS TOUR DUE TO INJURY

The ECB has today announced that Jamie Feldman has been ruled out of the Young Lions tour to the Caribbean later this month.

Seamer, Feldman, alongside Yorkshire’s Matt Firbank, are both injured and will not feature in the seven Youth One-Day Internationals against USA and West Indies in St Vincent.

Feldman featured in both the Metro Bank One-Day Cup and Vitality Blast in 2025, showing plenty of promise in his early appearances. The youngster claimed five wickets across both competitions and recently signed a contract, keeping him at the Club until at least the end of 2027.

Caleb Falconer, Sebastian Morgan and Jack Nelson remain in the Young Lions squad and will hopefully feature in the upcoming series.

Lancashire’s Luke Hands and Yorkshire’s Jay Singh have been called up for the tour, which serves as preparation for the upcoming ICC Under 19s Men’s World Cup, which takes place in Namibia and Zimbabwe early in the new year.
