LUKE HOLLMAN SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION UNTIL AT LEAST END OF 2028

Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce that spinner, Luke Hollman, has signed a contract extension and will remain at the Club until at least the end of the 2028 season.

Islington-born Hollman, 25, made his debut for the Club in 2020 during the Vitality Blast campaign and went on to represent Middlesex in the other two formats a year later.

Hollman has been a strong performer in the Blast over the last couple of seasons and was the Club’s second-highest wicket-taker in the competition in 2025, claiming 16 scalps. His best T20 figures of 5/16 came in the London derby against Surrey at Lord’s in 2024.

In red-ball cricket, he has 62 wickets – including two five-wicket hauls, but it’s his batting that caught the eye in 2025. In eight matches he scored 459 runs at an average of 38.25, with a career-best score of 103 – his maiden first-class century – coming in the County Championship win against Kent at Lord’s in May.

Speaking of his contract extension, Hollman commented:

“I really am delighted to have agreed and signed a new contract at Middlesex - my boyhood Club.

“I have been a part of the Club since I was nine years old, and it has been a huge part of my life, so to extend is fantastic.

“The last couple of years personally have been sink or swim years for me, so to come out the other side with some good performances under my belt has been really satisfying.

“We built some really good momentum in the back half of last season, which we can hopefully use to propel us forward in all three formats and strive towards being one of the biggest forces in English domestic cricket once again.”

Director of Cricket, Alan Coleman, added:

“For Luke to commit to at least another three summers at Middlesex is excellent news.

“Over the last number of years, he has matured as a cricketer and has proven that he can perform with both bat and ball.

“We look forward to seeing more exciting cricket from Luke across all three formats.”
