On Tuesday, members of the Middlesex men’s squad and coaching staff visited Manorfield Primary School in east London.
With Christmas just around the corner, the group spread some festive cheer by handing over a number of presents and gift vouchers to pupils on the visit following a Q&A session with members of the squad, where some really good questions were asked and insight given.
To round the day off, there was a game of cricket in the playground, where the pupils enjoyed mixing with the players present.
Speaking of the visit, Spin Coach Ian Salisbury commented:
“It was great to visit Manorfield Primary School earlier this week.
“To give gifts and see the joy that it brought to the pupils was incredibly heartwarming.
“The group were a credit to the Club and we look forward to getting out into the community again in 2026.
“Some excellent cricket was on display by the kids in the playground as well, so who knows, we may have seen some future Middlesex cricketers.”
