Middlesex Cricket can today announce their Men’s Second Eleven fixtures for the 2026 season.
The side will play a number of multi-day friendly matches as well as competing in the Second XI Championship and Second XI T20 competitions.
Their season starts on Tuesday 14th April with a three-day friendly against Essex at Colchester before welcoming Surrey to Radlett Cricket Club the following week. Further friendlies will take place against Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl and the South Asian Cricket Academy (SACA) at Merchant Taylors’ School.
Following the opening block of friendlies, the Second XI T20 competition begins with back-to-back home matches at Radlett against Kent (13th May) and Hampshire (19th May). Middlesex will also host Essex at Richmond (28th May) before Surrey and Sussex visit Radlett in late June.
The Second XI Championship begins on Monday 8th June against Lancashire at Southport Cricket Club before Middlesex entertain Warwickshire at Richmond a week later, whilst Sussex are the other opponents the side will play at home (Radlett) from 17th-20th August.
There will be two further away Second XI Championship clashes against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire respectively before the season concludes with a three-day friendly against Essex at Radlett.
Last summer, Middlesex finished second in their Championship group behind Nottinghamshire.
