MITC TO HOST ASHES HEROES DINNER RAISING FUNDS FOR DISABILITY TOUR

Middlesex in the Community are hosting an Ashes Heroes Dinner in February to raise money for the Disability cricket tour to Dubai.

In late February, a number of Middlesex’s disability cricketers will head to the UAE for seven days of elite training and competitive fixtures in the world-class surroundings of the Emirates Sevens Stadium.

The tour will offer a unique blend of high-performance training sessions and competitive matches under the Dubai sun. This initiative marks a major step forward in Middlesex’s ambition to place disability cricket at the forefront of the county game.

The Heroes dinner will be held at Balls Brothers Minster Court in central London on Thursday 12th February – hosted by MITC’s Managing Director and England legend Angus Fraser.

As well as Fraser, guests will hear from Simon Jones who won the Ashes in 2005 – playing a key part in that historic series – and Matt Prior, the wicketkeeper who won the Ashes on home soil in 2009 and 2013, and in Australia in 2010/11 (the last time England won down under).

On the night there will be a raffle, an auction and a game of heads or tails will take place – further raising valuable funds for the tour.

Tickets are priced at £135, with a three-course meal and wine included. They can be purchased HERE.
