MIDDLESEX MEN'S 2026 PRE-SEASON MATCHES ANNOUNCED

Middlesex Cricket can today announce its men’s pre-season matches ahead of the 2026 season.

The men’s squad will take on Hampshire, Nottinghamshire and Oxford UCCE in a series of multi-day matches as the players prepare for the season opener against Gloucestershire in the Rothesay County Championship at Lord’s from Friday 3rd April.

Fixtures against Hampshire and Nottinghamshire will be played away from home, with Middlesex playing at the Utilita Bowl and Trent Bridge respectively.

Hampshire will be entertaining us for a two-day match in Southampton on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March – with play commencing at 11am.

Following this, Middlesex will play a UCCE side for the first time since 2019 when Oxford visit Merchant Taylors’ School for a three-day match between 24th and 26th March with play starting at 11am.

Kindly note that due to the match taking place during term time, this encounter at Merchant Taylors' School will be played behind closed doors – however a stream will be provided for those wishing to watch.

Our pre-season matches conclude at the end of March with a two-day encounter against Nottinghamshire on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th, with play on both days beginning at 11am.

We look forward to welcoming members and supporters to Lord’s in April as competitive action returns. Don’t forget there’s still time to join as a member and you can do so by clicking HERE.
