Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce the signing of South African bowler Eathan Bosch for the remainder of the 2026 season.
Eathan has already joined up with the squad and will be available for selection for this weekend’s Rothesay County Championship clash against Durham. He will be available in all three competitions. The right-arm quick has had one stint in England previously, having represented Essex for a short spell in both the County Championship and Vitality Blast in 2024.
Bosch, who made his debut in 2017, has featured in 49 first-class matches in his career, taking 118 wickets in that time, with best figures of 6/38. With the bat, the 28-year-old has one century and 12 half-centuries.
Eathan has featured in 91 T20s, most recently representing Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20 and the Barbados Royals in the CPL. In January 2025, Eathan was called up to represent the South African national side for an ODI against New Zealand.
On joining Middlesex, Eathan Bosch commented:
“I’m really excited to represent Middlesex for the remainder of this season;
“The group has been really welcoming since joining, and I am excited to contribute as much as I can to help push the club towards Division One;
“It’s always been a dream of mine to play at Lord’s and to play a full season of county cricket. It will be a really special experience for me.”
Director of Cricket, Alan Coleman, added:
“We are really pleased to get this signing secured as Eathan is a player that will bring an enormous amount of quality to our pace attack and is someone that can make a real impact for us throughout the year, in all competitions;
“To have an overseas player available for all three formats is a rarity in county cricket, and we are delighted to have secured Eathan’s services.”
