Joe Cracknell has been removed from the remainder of this weekend’s Rothesay County Championship clash against Lancashire after suffering a finger injury on the opening day. His injury is currently being assessed by medical staff.
With Jack Davies currently unavailable for selection due to personal reasons, Harry Duke will come in as the injury replacement. Duke joined the club on loan this morning for the next two weeks.
Director of Cricket Alan Coleman said:
“I’m delighted to welcome Harry to the club for the next two weeks.
“I would like to thank Gavin Hamilton and Yorkshire CCC for their efforts in getting this agreement through at short notice.”
Middlesex will provide an update on Cracknell’s injury in due course.
