Middlesex in the Community Disability Squads Team up with William Sturges

Middlesex in the Community are delighted to announce that it has entered into an exciting new partnership with William Sturges, a relationship that will see London’s second oldest law firm support the outstanding work we perform in and around Disability cricket in Middlesex.

Middlesex in the Community (MITC) are thrilled to have entered a two-year agreement with William Sturges, with the option of a third year, a partnership that will see the two organisations working together until at least 2027. The agreement will see William Sturges hold the principal position on the front of each of the teams' playing shirts.

MITC has had a relationship with staff at William Sturges for a number of years, and the law firm increased its involvement 12 months ago. The new agreement highlights how the relationship has grown.

Commenting on the new partnership, William Sturges said:

“This partnership reflects values that are deeply important to us at William Sturges: inclusion, opportunity, teamwork and community.

“Over the past year, it has been a privilege to support a group of players who continue to demonstrate exceptional determination, talent and sportsmanship, culminating in the Middlesex Super 9s becoming National Champions after an unbeaten season.

“The renewed partnership will continue to support disability cricket initiatives, community engagement activities and opportunities that help make cricket more accessible to all.

“It will also include events, mentoring, work experience opportunities and continued involvement with Middlesex in the Community programmes.

“As a firm, we believe strong partnerships are built on shared values and long-term commitment. We are proud to continue supporting the outstanding work of Middlesex in the Community and look forward to the next chapter together.”

Angus Fraser, External Relations Director at Middlesex in the Community, said:

“It is brilliant to see a company like William Sturges wanting to get involved with and support Middlesex in the Community.

“During the past 12 months, we have got to know several people at William Sturges and have really enjoyed their company.

"They are really good people who genuinely want to help and support what we do. Our values match, and we look forward to working with them to make the support we give to Disability cricket in Middlesex as good as it can be.”
