Head Coach Marc Broom has named a 13-player squad for this Friday’s Vitality Blast Women’s League 2 clash against Kent at Lord’s.
Middlesex will be looking to build momentum heading into the opening stages of the T20 competition, with Friday’s fixture marking the start of their 2026 Vitality Blast campaign. The two sides meet regularly in other competitions, with Middlesex producing a number of strong performances in the shorter format in recent seasons.
There are several options at the top of the order, with Abbie Whybrow and Issy Routledge likely to provide attacking intent during the powerplay. Saskia adds experience and stability near the top, while Riva Pindoria and Finty Trussler offer further depth through the middle overs.
Scarlett Hughes is set to take the gloves as wicketkeeper, with Alice Whitmore and Sonali Patel providing Middlesex with flexibility across both batting and bowling departments. Hannah Davis also strengthens the side’s all-round options heading into the opening Blast fixture.
With the ball, Middlesex have a varied attack at their disposal, combining seam and spin options allowing them to adapt to T20 conditions and applying pressure throughout the innings.
