SQUAD NEWS & MATCH PREVIEW | MIDDLESEX V SURREY | VITALITY BLAST

Middlesex's Vitality Blast campaign continues tomorrow when we take on Surrey at Lord's.

Men’s Head Coach, Peter Fulton, has named a squad of 13 for tomorrow's clash at the Home of Cricket. There is one change from Friday's squad against Kent, with Matt Boyle unavailable due to a delay with his registration. Blake Cullen replaces him in the side.

Adam Rossington, will look to continue his start to the campaign, following his knock of 79 in Friday's game.

Middlesex are once again without Ben Geddes and Naavya Sharma, with the duo on England Lions duty for the first block of Blast games.

Middlesex’s two young all-rounders, Caleb Falconer and Sebastian Morgan, both feature in the squad and will provide captain Leus du Plooy with power-hitting down the order and a variation of bowlers.

Tom Helm, who took 20 wickets last year and was Middlesex’s leading wicket taker in the competition, will likely lead the pace attack this weekend. He’ll have Eathan Bosch, Noah Cornwell and Ryan Higgins in support. Zafar Gohar and Luke Hollman lead the spinners; Josh de Caires and Leus du Plooy are able to offer support should they be needed.

Surrey kicked off their campaign with a comprehensive 59-run victory against Lancashire on Friday night.

Glorious weather is once again forecast in the capital, with temperatures set to rise to over 30 degrees. Tickets for tomorrow's game are still available, and can be purchased HERE.

Middlesex men get underway at 12pm, and will be followed by Middlesex Women against Leicestershire Foxes at 4pm.
