Head Coach Marc Broom has named a 13-player squad for Sunday's Vitality Women's T20 County Cup clash against Warwickshire Women at Radlett Cricket Club.
Middlesex face one of their toughest tests of the season as they welcome Tier 1 opposition to Radlett. Warwickshire arrive as one of the leading sides in the women's domestic game, providing Middlesex with an exciting opportunity to measure themselves against top-level opposition on home soil.
The hosts will be looking to build on the positive performances they have produced throughout the cup so far. With a place in the next round at stake, Middlesex will be aiming to make the most of home advantage and challenge a strong Warwickshire side.
There are several options at the top of the order, with Artemis Downer and Scarlett Hughes likely to provide an attacking start. Hughes is also set to take the gloves, while captain Saskia Horley will be expected to play a key role in the batting line-up alongside Riva Pindoria and Finty Trussler.
Issy Routledge adds further depth with the bat, giving Middlesex flexibility throughout the middle overs. Anaya Patel and Hannah Davis provide a range of options within the bowling attack, with Lauren Turner also providing support.
With the ball, Middlesex possess a varied attack capable of adapting to T20 conditions. A combination of seam and spin gives the hosts a number of wicket-taking options as they look to contain a powerful Warwickshire batting line-up.
