Head Coach Marc Broom has named a 13-player squad for Sunday's Vitality Blast Women’s League 2 clash against Worcestershire Women at Bromsgrove Cricket Club.
Middlesex return to action looking to continue their excellent start to the Vitality Blast campaign. Sitting top of the League 2 table with four wins from their opening five matches, Middlesex will be aiming to build on their momentum against a Worcestershire side currently placed seventh.
The visitors head into the contest on the back of an impressive 64-run victory over Derbyshire and will be keen to maintain their position at the summit of the standings. Middlesex will also take confidence from their earlier meeting with Worcestershire this season, having secured victory over Sunday's opponents in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
There are several strong options throughout the batting line-up, with Issy Routledge and Scarlett Hughes capable of providing an aggressive start during the powerplay. Captain Saskia Horley will once again lead the side, while Artemis Downer and Riva Pindoria add further quality and experience through the middle order.
Middlesex have demonstrated adaptability throughout the opening weeks of the competition and will be eager to continue that form as the campaign progresses.
