Head Coach Marc Broom has named a 13-player squad for Sunday's Women's One-Day Cup clash against Kent Women at The St Lawrence Ground.
Middlesex return to One-Day Cup action following the conclusion of their Vitality Blast campaign, with Sunday's away fixture against Kent marking the resumption of their 50-over campaign. Currently sitting second in the table with a game in hand, Middlesex will be looking to strengthen their position as the competition enters its second half.
Having enjoyed a strong start to the One Day Cup earlier in the season, Middlesex will be aiming to pick up where they left off and continue their impressive form. With valuable points on offer, Sunday's encounter presents another important opportunity to maintain pressure at the top of the standings.
There is plenty of quality throughout the batting line-up, with Pippa Sproul and Scarlett Hughes expected to provide a solid platform at the top of the order. Captain Saskia Horley will once again be central to Middlesex's efforts with both bat and ball, while Riva Pindoria, Artemis Downer and Finty Trussler add further strength and experience through the middle order. Abbie Whybrow and Issy Routledge provide valuable depth, giving Middlesex plenty of options throughout the innings.
Middlesex's bowling attack offers a balanced blend of pace and spin. Hannah Davis and Layla Judge provide options, while Siya Nanavati comes into the squad after impressing in the recent SCG friendly. Rachana adds further depth to the attack as Middlesex look to make early breakthroughs and apply pressure throughout Kent's innings.
With the race at the top of the table continuing to gather pace, Middlesex will be determined to make a strong return to One Day Cup action and build on the positive start they have already made in the competition. The squad is listed below:
