Head Coach Marc Broom has named a 13-player squad for Sunday's Vitality Blast League Two clash against Sussex Sharks Women.
Middlesex return to action looking to bounce back from their defeat to Glamorgan and will be aiming to get back to winning ways against Sussex as the Vitality Blast campaign nears the end.
With valuable points on offer, Sunday's fixture presents another opportunity for Middlesex to gain a place in finals day. The side has shown encouraging signs throughout the competition and will be looking to deliver a strong all-round performance against the Sharks.
There are plenty of batting options within the squad, with Artemis Downer and Scarlett Hughes expected to provide an aggressive start at the top of the order. Captain Saskia Horley will once again be central to Middlesex's experience with both bat and ball, while Gaya Gole, Finty Trussler and Riva Pindoria add further strength and experience through the middle order.
Pippa Sproul is included once again after returning from international duty with Scotland, while Abbie Whybrow provides another valuable option with both bat and in the field.
Middlesex's bowling attack offers a strong blend of pace and spin. Hannah Davis, Anaya Patel and Sarah Pearson provide options, while Katie Wolfe and Alice Whitmore add variety as Middlesex look to make early breakthroughs and keep the Sussex batting line-up under pressure.
With several key performances already this campaign, Middlesex will be eager to return to winning ways and continue pushing for a place in finals day.
