Men’s Head Coach Peter Fulton has named a squad of 14 for our Vitality Blast clash against Essex in Chelmsford tomorrow.
The squad is unchanged from last weekend’s defeat to Durham at Richmond, with Ryan Higgins and Noah Cornwell still missing through injury. Caleb Falconer is unavailable following his call-up to the England U19 side for their series against South Africa.
Tom Helm will lead Middlesex’s seam attack; the 32-year-old became Middlesex's leading wicket-taker in T20S against Durham when he overtook Steven Finn. Zafar Gohar will lead the spinners; only Noah Cornwell has been more economical than him for Middlesex this year.
