Men’s Head Coach Peter Fulton has named a squad of 14 for this evening’s Vitality T20 Blast clash against Hampshire Hawks.
There is one change from the side that defeated Essex in Chelmsford on Sunday, with Noah Cornwell returning to the squad after recovering from an arm injury; he replaces Henry Brookes. Caleb Falconer is unavailable, having been called up to the England U19s squad for their two-test series against South Africa, which starts on Friday.
Middlesex will once again have two spinners in Zafar Gohar and Luke Hollman. The pair were very impressive on Sunday, with Gohar going for just 12 runs off his four overs, and Hollman finishing with figures of 4/21. Josh de Caires is also available should a third spinner be required.
Sunday’s win moved Middlesex off the foot of the South Group table; our hosts tonight sit at the top of the table, knowing a win tonight will almost certainly confirm their place at Finals Day.
