Men’s Head Coach Peter Fulton has named an unchanged squad of 14 for our final Vitality T20 Blast clash of the season against Kent Spitfires in Canterbury.
Middlesex will be looking to round out a disappointing 2026 campaign with a victory against the two-time winners. Leus du Plooy’s side has found some form recently with two impressive victories on the road against Essex and Hampshire Hawks; however, they came up short against Sussex Sharks at Merchant Taylors’ School yesterday.
Max Holden has been in some fine form, striking back-to-back half-centuries in the previous two rounds; he now leads the run charts with 273 in the competition so far, 57 ahead of second-placed Luke Hollman. Hollman, however, leads the wicket charts alongside right-arm quick Tom Helm. The pair have both claimed 10 wickets in 2026 so far. Naavya Sharma has impressed at the death recently, with only Zafar Gohar proving more economical than the 20-year-old this year.
Kent came out on top in the reverse fixture this year. The Spitfires defeated Middlesex by 27 runs at Lord’s in the season opener back in May. Skipper Sam Billings’ unbeaten knock of 84 was the difference between the two sides under the lights. Our hosts come into this one off the back of a 9-wicket thumping by Surrey on Friday night.
Play is scheduled to get underway at 2:30pm tomorrow afternoon. You can watch the action live from the Match Centre on the Middlesex website, which is also where you can view scorecards and the stats from the match. You can also stay up to date across our social media channels.
