Head Coach Marc Broom has named a 13-player squad for Sunday's Women's One-Day Cup clash against Sussex Sharks at Arundel Castle CC.
Middlesex continue their Women's One-Day Cup action looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeat to Kent Women. Sunday's away fixture against Sussex Sharks presents an opportunity for the side to return to winning ways as the competition continues.
Despite the disappointment of their most recent outing, Middlesex have shown plenty of positive signs throughout the campaign and will be looking to produce an improved all-round performance against Sussex. With valuable points still on offer, every fixture becomes increasingly important as the season progresses.
There is plenty of quality throughout the batting line-up, with Pippa Sproul and Scarlett Hughes expected to provide a solid platform at the top of the order. Captain Saskia Horley will once again be central to Middlesex's efforts with both bat and ball, while Riva Pindoria, Artemis Downer and Abbie Whybrow add further strength through the middle order.
Bowling attack offers a balanced blend of pace and spin. Hannah Davis, Siya Nanavati and Alice Whitmore provide further options alongside Layla Judge, giving Middlesex a varied attack capable of applying pressure throughout Sussex's innings.
With an immediate opportunity to respond following last weekend's result, Middlesex will be determined to put in a strong performance as they look to get their One-Day Cup campaign back on track.
