Middlesex Women have named an unchanged 13-player squad for their upcoming Metro Bank One Day Cup League Two Women’s Semi-Final against Northamptonshire Steelbacks, with the two sides set to meet at Radlett as Middlesex look to book their place in the final.
Middlesex will be aiming to build on their outstanding performance against Glamorgan and produce another disciplined all-round display, with the team determined to carry their momentum into the knockout stages and take another step towards lifting the trophy.
There is plenty of quality throughout the Middlesex batting line-up, with Artemis Downer, Riva Pindoria and Issy Routledge providing options at the top of the order. Downer will be full of confidence after her excellent performance against Glamorgan, where she struck an impressive 60 from just 50 deliveries to give Middlesex a strong platform with the bat.
Saskia Horley, Finty Trussler and Scarlett Hughes add further firepower through the middle order. Middlesex will be hoping the batting group can once again combine effectively to put the Steelbacks under pressure with a strong total.
