Unbeknown to many at Middlesex there was an area in The Tavern Stand that contained hundreds of wonderful items from Middlesex’s proud, rich and successful history. During the past few weeks we have slowly been going through these items and will, through this newsletter, keep releasing images from the past. My favourites are the images of the 1960 payroll – are the figures weekly or monthly pay? – and the Middlesex youth team of the late 70’s. How many can you/we name? Also, isn’t The Diamond a handsome man?
