CLUB FORUM DATES ANNOUNCED FOR THIS WINTER

CLUB FORUM DATES ANNOUNCED FOR THIS WINTER

After the resounding success of the club forums last year, Middlesex Cricket are delighted to be able to release the programme and schedule for the 2023/24 winter.

We will be hosting three interactive events this year to share, listen, and respond to the clubs in our community. Each session will have an experienced and varied team, with the aim of enjoying healthy and productive conversations with you all.

The next session on Wednesday 6 December 2023, with a further two to be held in the new year.

Purpose

To share outcomes and priorities from our Facility Strategy which we developed last year with the input from our clubs. This includes a discussion on non turf pitches (NTPs) and Hybrid pitches, as well as information on going through the County Grant Fund (CGF) process.

Conversation starters:

“How to service the game now and in the future”,

“What is your social impact and wider approach to club development”.

However, we’ll happily go in the direction of the room, so if you have specifics you want to raise, then please either come prepared to share or let us know when you register your attendance.

The Dates / Venues / Times

Wednesday 6 December 2023 at Indian Gymkhana CC: 7pm to 9pm

Tuesday 23 January 2024 at Pinner CC: 7pm to 9pm

Monday 29 January 2024 at North London CC: 7pm to 9pm

Clubs are welcome to attend sessions that are out of their area. Topics will be relevant for men’s, women’s, boys and girls representatives of a club.

People (delivery and event facilitation team)

Who should attend

Committee members, Chairs, Secretary, senior figure heads, directors of cricket and key club people. And, if you have facility manager or development group, people from that group too.

How to attend

To register your attendance please email [email protected] informing them of which date/venue you wish to attend, and using the subject title as “winter club forums”. This will help us share numbers with our venues.

If you have any further questions, or want to offer your club for one of the remaining events, please contact [email protected].

Finally, we want to thank our host clubs for providing us the venue to use – their generosity is hugely appreciated, and thus we encourage those in attendance to buy a drink over the bar before/after these events.
