SIX MIDDLESEX BOROUGHS QUALIFY FOR LONDON YOUTH GAMES FINALS

Congratulations to the six Middlesex boroughs who have qualified for their respective London Youth Games finals day, with four U13 girls teams and two U13 boys teams progressing.

Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, and Richmond have all booked their place on the girls finals day, which is taking place on Sunday 24 March, after progressing through their qualifiers.

Harrow and Hounslow qualified in the boys competition.

There were also three festivals aimed at U15 girls, which the Middlesex boroughs did extremely well in.

The first festival saw Hammersmith and Fulham take first place, with Westminster coming third. Barnet, Ealing and Hillingdon filled the top three in the second group, whilst Haringey claimed third place in the final festival.

Four new Young Cricket Officials returned to help officiate at the Games, after completing their courses last year. Congratulations to Etan, Isa, Mark and Mourya who put in a brilliant performance to help control the games on the day.

Other newly-qualified Young Cricket Officials will also be helping out at the Finals Day later this month. Read more about the programme here.
