Location – Middlesex Indoor Cricket School, East End Road, London, N3 2TA

Rate - £25 per hour plus travel expenses

About the role:

The City Cup/Mavericks squad is a key part of Middlesex in the Community's Cricket Cities programme offering players regular hard ball cricket training and playing opportunities. The playing group is diverse, made up of players who play for traditional cricket clubs, those who used to play but stopped for various reason, and asylum seekers/refugees who's only opportunity to play hardball cricket is through this programme. The squad competes in the two competitions during the cricket season; the Middlesex Development League (MDL) on Sunday's in June and July and the Cricket4London City Cup and inter county competition between the London Counties with 4 weekday match days in July and August. The squad also trains once a week (all year-round) at the Middlesex Indoor Cricket School at Finchley.

Through the Cricket Cities programme Middlesex in the Community have also helped some of the squad players begin their coaching journey and transition to traditional club cricket where that is what players want.
