Brookes joined Middlesex in 2024 from Warwickshire, where he had been since the age of nine.
He has impressed with the ball in all formats with 126 wickets in First Class cricket, 53 in List A, and 63 in T20 Cricket.
He has also appeared in franchise cricket with appearances for the Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred as well as the Sylhet Titans in the Bangladesh Premier League.
