Du Plooy joined Middlesex in 2024 after a five-year stint at Derbyshire.
The South African started his career in his homeland with Free State, Titans, and Northerns before moving to England.
He has also had experience in franchise cricket, playing in the Hundred, SA20, and the ILT20.
