Kingspan unveiled as new Executive Partner of Middlesex Cricket

Middlesex County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Kingspan Insulation has become one of the club’s Executive Partners from 2017.

The new Executive Partnership will see Kingspan joining the Middlesex family and benefitting from a wide range of corporate entertainment and a team in Middlesex inaugural cricket day on the main pitch at Lord’s. Their package will also see them unveiled as the new headline sponsor of the Middlesex County Cricket League.

Kingspan, founded in 1965 as a small family owned engineering and contracting business in Kingscourt, Ireland, has grown to be a world leader in products for energy efficient buildings, now employing over 10,000 people across the globe. Kingspan manufactures a diverse range of innovative products for the global property market in over 90 locations, including the commercial sector, and their products have influenced many of the world’s most iconic showcase structures. One of their most recent projects saw their products installed in the Warner Stand redevelopment here at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Middlesex County Cricket Club’s Commercial Director Rob Lynch commented...

“We are delighted to welcome Kingspan to the Middlesex family and are thrilled to announce them as one of our Executive Partners. We’re really looking forward to working closely with them over the coming year and beyond.

“Our thanks goes to Kingspan for their commitment to Middlesex Cricket and we hope this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.”

Speaking of Kingspan’s new sponsorship of the Middlesex County Cricket League, Bob Baxter, Chairman of the League and Middlesex County Cricket Club Executive Board member said...

“We are delighted to have secured Kingspan as our headline sponsor for 2017.

“The MCCL has been without a sponsor for several years and this investment will go a long way to help out our clubs financially in a time of rising costs as well as helping with initiatives like funding umpires’ and scorers’ courses which are vital in terms of getting more officials back into the game.

“Having already met with representatives from Kingspan I know they have a feeling for cricket and will be a strong supporter of Middlesex cricket as a whole.”

Richard Burnley, Managing Director – Britain & Ireland added…

“Having a positive impact in the communities in which we operate is fundamental to Kingspan. We do this in a number of ways and backing Middlesex Cricket has been an easy decision.

“We wish the reigning County champions well for the coming season and are also looking forward to supporting the development of the game through the Middlesex County Cricket League.”
