MIDDLESEX SQUAD - LATEST INJURY UPDATE

After catching up with the club's Assistant Physiotherapist David Bartlett today please see the following update, with the latest status on injuries within the Middlesex squad.

Roby Roland-Jones (stress fracture of back) - Toby's recovery from injury is progressing well and he continues to make good progress. He will however remain unavailable for selection for the remainder of the 2018 season whilst he continues his recovery.

Steven Finn (knee bruising) - Steven will not be considered for selection for Middlesex's three opening Vitality Blast matches whilst he recovers from the knee injury he picked up at Grace Road against Leicestershire. Steven suffered soreness in the knee during the Leicestershire game and was rested for the Kent Championship clash. During this time he underwent a scan which revealed bruising to the bone. He will therefore be rested for the first three Vitality Blast matches to allow this to settle and recover.

Ethan Bamber (lower abdominal tear) - Ethan is recovering from a lower abdominal tear and has unfortunately had to withdraw from the England Under 19 squad for the two Test series against South Africa Under 19's. He will continue his rehabilitation under the care of the Middlesex medical team.

James Harris (side strain) - James has fully recovered from the side strain he picked up whilst playing in the County Championship against Kent. He is now available for selection for all cricket.
