Key Responsibilities:

with the club's vision and objectives.

VACANCY TWO - HEAD OF SENIOR CRICKET/HIGH PERFORMANCE COACH
Ealing Cricket Club (ECC), a distinguished Premier League Club in Middlesex, is seeking a High
Performance Coach to lead all Performance cricket activities at the Club for Men and Senior Colts.
This pivotal role encompasses leadership within the Senior Men’s teams, guiding the Ealing CC
Pathway activities, and nurturing the potential of our Colts for a seamless transition into the Senior
Cricket activities at the Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Senior Cricket Development: Lead and manage all Performance cricket activities, focusing on
the development and enhancement of the 1st XI squad's performance and progression from
lower teams.
- Talent Identification: Work closely with the Head of Junior Cricket to identify, nurture, and
cultivate the talents of Junior Boys, ensuring a smooth progression into Senior Cricket within
the Club.
- Planning and Innovation: Collaborate closely with the Director of Cricket to strategize, plan,
and implement high-performance training programs for both Senior Men’s teams and
transition squads.
- Assist other areas of the playing membership as required: Play an integral role in the
broader coaching program, actively engaging in coaching sessions throughout the year for
male, female and junior members and holiday courses.
- Consistency of Delivery: Work closely with the broader coaching team to maintain a
cohesive approach to skill development and tactical understanding across all levels.
- Mentoring: Act as a mentor, providing guidance and support to players, fostering a culture of
continuous improvement and achievement.
Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
- A Level 3 coaching qualification (desirable) coupled with a proven track record in
high-performance coaching within cricket.
- Demonstrable experience in talent identification, development, and successful integration
into higher-level cricket activities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate players
at different skill levels.
- An innovative approach to coaching, with a focus on implementing modern training
techniques and strategies to enhance performance.
- Current DBS and First Aid certification are highly desirable.

- Junior Cricket Development: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive
cricket programme for our junior section, catering to both boys and girls of various age
groups.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Oversee the coaching staff for the junior section, ensuring the
provision of high-quality coaching and mentoring focusing on skill development, teamwork,
and sportsmanship.
- Holiday Cricket Courses: Plan, organise, and run cricket courses during school holidays,
ensuring they are engaging, educational, and cater to different skill levels.
- Pathways to Senior Cricket: Develop clear and effective pathways for talented junior players
