Job Title: Media Intern

Reports to: Director of Communications

Location: Lord’s Cricket Ground and other home venues

Contract Term: Fixed term (1 May to 30 September 2024) - to attend Middlesex and Sunrisers home match days. This role includes evening and weekend work

Salary: £1,000 per calendar month

Introduction to role:

Middlesex Cricket is looking for an individual to join their Communications team, on a fixed contract for five months during the season, from May to the end of September 2024

The successful candidate will have experience, or have an interest in gaining experience in the following areas:

For this placement we ask you commit to attendance on all home match days, some of which are at weekends and during the evening. This placement will enable you to work in a professional sports environment at one of the world’s most iconic sports venues, and apply your existing media and digital skills to the role.

Working closely with the Middlesex Communications Team, you’ll learn and benefit from their talent and experience and you’ll develop a range of new skills and exceptional real-world examples to pursue a long career in the sports media, journalism, broadcast or digital fields.

This role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work in an elite sports set-up, developing their skills and learning new ones.
