Job Title: Performance Analysis Intern

Location: London & East Region - travel required

Term: April to September 2024 onsite & remote working. Exact number of days to be discussed.

Renumeration: Competitive day rate to be discussed at interview.

The Role:

We are pleased to announce we are looking for a performance analysis Intern to join our performance and elite pathway for the 2024 season. The role will include the opportunity to code and analyse live cricket matches, with orientation and training provided.

Job Description: (including but not limited to)

• Live Coding of Middlesex & Sunrisers 2^nd XI/Academy Home matches.
• Scope to lead analysis provisions for Middlesex 1^st XI during the One Day Cup.
• Development, and if required delivery, of pre-match scouting packs including video and statistical information.
• Support in introducing/delivering the team’s analysis philosophy to Academy/EPP program. Transportation and Safe Storage of Analysis equipment.
• Development of Post match reports (At coach request)
• Support in research projects at request of Lead analyst.
• Assist in the completion of Senior and Academy analysis projects.

• Supporting Lead analyst in Pre-match prep and if required on game days.

Who we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of Cricket.
• Willingness to learn.
• Highly driven and motivated individual.
• Effective communicator.
• Experience using PCS pro/NV Play (desirable).
• Presentation and video design skills.
• Available for selected dates throughout the summer including all home games.
• Able to travel to/from Team’s various training/game locations.
• Able to transport camera equipment to various grounds for coding of matches and to be able to store equipment safely between matches.
• London/East Region based.
